Neocolonial House
In the 1970s and 1980s, most of the mansions around Lagoa were demolished and replaced by multifamily buildings. The Neocolonial house at 142 Prof. Saldanha Street, formerly known as a clinic, would have met the same fate if it had not been designated as a protected landmark by the municipality in 1995.
At that moment, the Brix Real Estate Investment Fund stepped in to breathe new life into this historic construction, establishing a modern use for a residence from the past. There will be six units within the preserved house and six additional units in a contemporary architectural project that maintains the original features of the historic building.

Project
A+ Arquitetura designed the Puro, bringing a contemporary approach that values essential forms, balanced lines, and harmonious integration with the surroundings. The result is a clear, elegant, and functional architecture, conceived to match the pace of urban life today.
The interiors were developed by Morolli Arquitetura, which translated the identity of the Puro into welcoming, sophisticated spaces. The careful selection of materials and details reinforces the atmosphere of the project, creating spaces that combine well-being, aesthetics, and everyday practicality.
